This is such a powerful statement on what is considered beautiful...girls of all colors should relate because esteem issues haunt us all, however this is one of the issues never spoken of. To despair of who you are because of some archaic standard imposed by slave owners! You've been instrumental in showing others that natural hair is beautiful. Natural skin is next. Be healthy, love who you are.
Which is why it's important for Kanazawa & Psychology Today to be called on their BS, We don't need to perpetuate the myth.
