Guess who is taking over Oprah's old studio at Harpo?
It's good ole Rosie O'Donnell!
"Hello people of Harpo, it's me, Rosie O'Donnell, star of 'The Flintstones,'" O'Donnell said in a video message. "I just wanted to say: Hi, I'm coming to Chicago. Yes, I am, and I'm thrilled about it. And I get to work with all of you, who have created magnificent television for two decades-plus."
I actually like Rosie. I thought she was a breath of fresh air on The View. She is very bright and keeps up on the issues. I loved it when she and Eliszabeth H got in that big agrument. She put Elizabeth in her in her place and she made fun of Donald Trump!
Anyway, Harpo announced Tuesday that Rosie O'Donnell will begin taping her new, nationally syndicated talk show in the West Side studio this fall. The one-hour show will air on OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network.
'Donnell told O magazine that her new show will be less celebrity-driven. "The show will be about real people and real issues," she said. "I'll focus on a single topic for one hour, things people deal with every day. Raising children. The education system in America. Autism. Relationships, health, weight, depression -- and happy stuff too, of course. I envision the show being full of love and laughter."
I'm Just Sayin!
