I know there are riots in the streets of Egypt but The Bachelor goes on.
With only 11 girls left, the suspense in the house is mounting.
Last night there was a one on one date, a group date and the dreaded two on one date. Meaning: two go out but only one comes home. The girls really hate being chosen for this date.
But first, the girls get a big surprise. They have one hour to pack their bags, because they are heading to Sin City - Las Vegas, NV. Once they land and settle into the Aria Hotel, the fun begins.
The 1st one on one was with the undertaker lady – Shawntel N. She gets to play "pretty woman" and go on a shopping spree with Brad. Later that evening, she and Brad have a, much too long, conversation about embalming and Peaches the cross eyed cat. Brad’s a softie though and gives her a rose (even tho I’m almost 100% sure he must have been bored with that conversation).
It's announced that the two on one date will be the two Ashley’s!! OH NO! Best friends in the house and viewer favorites. Uh oh.
But first - The group date is to the race track to drive NASCARs. Poor Emily is having a really hard time with this because her true love was a race car driver and died on the way to the track. Brad is really feeling bad for her after that confession and he goes out of his way to comfort her (4 times last nite). Which in the end works for her but not for the other girls. They are so upset, that most of them end up crying.
Later Emily gets a rose.
Speaking of crying…a lot of crying was going on last night. Maybe the girls were all PMSing at the same time. You know what they say about, groups of women living/working together, etc, etc.
For some reason there was a segment with Brad’s shrink talking. Not so sure what that’s about. Is he going to star in a new ABC spinoff?? Hmmm I don’t know.
Anyway the biggest tears came form Ashley S when Brad sent her home on the two on one. Brad gave the rose to Ashley H (she shows a trace of being a little neurotic – don’t you think?)
Finals rose not given to Marissa or Lisa. Who?
See you next week. Hometown dates are getting closer.

Well I did watch it last, and am starting to like Brad more now. I was so jealous of Chantal's shopping spree! Wow what a grand time, huh? It didn't appear to go to her head though. I like her and she's genuine, and doesn't appear to be so in to herself. He asked about her work and she told him. It's better than talking about their last relationships (boring), and the usual blah stuff they talk about. At least she's got something interesting to say and has a life!! Imagine, she's from Chico and had never been to Vegas..huh? She just seems real to me and not obsessed with herself and her needs like most of them. I don't like Emily. She's like a plastic Barbie doll. I thought the last scene before the rose ceremony was great! I like the way that woman came on to him (can't remember her name). She's not afraid to put herself out there and take risks-notice who he gave the frist rose to???
I like Shawntel (the mortician) too. I am enjoying this season a lot more then I thought I would.
Keep up the reviews they are dead on (non pun intended) : )
