Londolozi Private Reserve

As I ponder the itinerary for the South African safari, I thought I would give you a  peak at some of the options on the list.

 

The Londolozi safari offers twice daily game drives in open vehicles (making for great photographic opportunities) under the guidance of skilled rangers and trackers. Bird watching and bush walks are also available. Accommodations include a beautiful chalet at the Londolozi Private Reserve.  I would actually get to spend my birthday at this beautiful game reserve. Sounds sooo exciting! 

In the centre of Londolozi burns a fire in the very spot where the Varty forefathers set up their tents 80 years ago. This fire has been lit every night on the same spot for generations and embodies the significance of this camp and the continuity of the Varty custodianship. Varty camp is the heart of Londolozi.

Varty Camp is the home of an African safari holiday.  All rooms have private swimming pools framed by timber decks that overlook the riverine bush. The living spaces are raised off the ground and shaded under a cathedral of trees.
