Cape Town Fashion Week 2010

Fashion Week is an industry event, lasting approximately one week, which allows fashion designers, brands or "houses" to display their latest collections in runway shows and buyers to take a look at the latest trends. Most importantly, it lets the industry know what's "in" and what's "out" for the season. The most prominent fashion weeks are held in the Fashion capitals – New York, London, Milan and Paris.

This is Africa’s largest gathering of fashion talent. From its inception in 2003 this event has grown into one of the premiere “new world” fashion weeks providing an international platform for designers from across sub-Saharan Africa.

Day One: Focuses on young designers

Day Two: Established men’s and women’s designers take the stage

Day Three: Brings the weekend to a climax with elegant daywear and dazzling evening wear.

Thirteen collections will showcase emerging designers along with industry heavyweights.
