Last night on the season finale of The Bachelor, Jake chose Vienna to be his bride and sent the heartbroken, sweet little Tenley home in tears.
I guess nothing ever really surprises me on this show. Did I think he was going to choose Tenley? Well, maybe. I can tell you, I actually closed my eyes and muted my TV when they got close to landing cuz I can't stand the anticipation of waiting to see which girl's foot will step out first! I opened my eyes just in time to see Tenley's gold gown hit the ground. gasp Tenley/Jake reminds me of the Stephanie/Jason/Bachelor situation. There was just something about her too. I guess you can't be "too nice" and still get chosen. At least that appears to be the trend on this show.
What is it with guys anyway? Vienna is clearly out classed, but in the end, her wild, sexy ways, won Jake over. (We all know which head he was thinking with) I wonder what's going to happen when he wakes up from his sex stupor and tries to have a deep and meaningful conversation with her? I wonder why nothing ever came up about her topless swimsuit calendar photos? And, I'm not at all convinced that Jake's family is really as happy with his choice as they pretended professed to be on the show. You could tell that they had some really deep reservations about her. Then all of a sudden after a few minutes of conversation they are convinced that she would "be a perfect fit" for their family? Hmmm. I wasn't born yesterday. We'll just have to see.
Looks like we'll be seeing pilot Jake in the next few weeks shaking his groove thing on Dancing With the Stars. I remember Jake dancing with Tenley and I don't recall that he had any rhythm. None! O-Kay?
