My Personal Spring Shopping Spree

Today the weather was absolutely gorgeous. There is nothing I like to do more on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, than shop. Since I devoted much of my posting during Fashion Week to introducing the hottest new trends and colors, I decided to go out and see how easy it would be to add some key pieces to my own wardrobe (and a great excuse to shop too, wouldn't you say?). I also had a little impetus from Friday's Oprah Show. I am happy to report that Oprah devoted a good portion of her show to discussing the SAME spring trends. They had some outfits on display and even dressed some of the audience members in the newest looks. But, you saw it here first folks!

Anyway, after spending the entire morning with some good friends walking the puppies along the marina, I was in the mood to shop.
I had heard that women in Paris don't wear shorts and are typically nicely dressed in dresses or slacks. With that in mind I set out on my mission.
Here's what I got:
2 pairs of ankle length casual slacks by Eileen Fisher in navy and ivory
1 cropped neck T in white by Eileen Fisher
2 animal print (leopard & zebra)cotton blouses by Jones of NY Signature
1 long shirt pleated in front in white by Calvin Klein
1 darling military jacket in dried herb (green) by INC

1 great looking striped shawl sort of asymmetrical (black & grey)by BCBG
1 jean dress with a sort of military look in black by Ralph Lauren
1 dress amparo (blue) & white & black (pattern) Donna Ricco (link)

1 dress fusion coral & brown (pattern)by Maggy London (link)

1 dress black & white (pattern) Rabbit
1 dress black& white by Nine West
1 dress ivory/rose appliques around a scoop neck by Taylor (not Ann)
2 cropped sweaters (amparo (blue) & black) Rabbit

These are excellent additions to my wardrobe and will be very useful on my trip this summer.

Since I have no cupcakes or frozen yogurt
Time for a glass of wine!

You really meant it when you said "shopping".

I thought you meant a blouse or two, maybe a dress and some pants. LOL

Cute dresses. :)
