In any given month there are a multitude of causes, events and organizations that are honored by having a national month dedicated to their awareness. My plan was to write about the fact that February is Black History Month, National Heart Awareness Month and Cervical Cancer Awareness Month but I thought this would be a good time to mention some others that also share the honor in the month of February.
- National Chocolate Lover's Month - Very Convenient, Just in time for Valentine's Day
- National Sweet Potato Month - Candied, Baked, in a Pie or in a Fry
- National Snack Food Month - Super Bowl Sunday is the Year's Biggest Snack Day
- Return Shopping Carts to the Supermarket Month - Take em Back Folks. This is Serious
- Creative Romance Month - Emphasis on "CREATIVE"
- National Mend a Broken Heart Month - When Creativity Fails
- National Condom Month - Hmmm Nov has the 2nd Lowest birthrate - True
- Adopt a Rescued Rabbit Month - Urges Adoption of a "Buddy for your Bunny"
- Marijuana Awareness Month - Gee, Only one Month?
- National Bath safety Month - Showers Only!
- National Hot Tea Month - Hold the ice for June (Yep, National Iced Tea Month)
- White Male oppression Awareness Month - Not Gonna Touch that one!
- Spunky Old Broads Month - Finally, We SOB's Got our Own Month
