The day the music died

Damon Harris, a one-time member of legendary Motown group The Temptations, died on Monday, Feb. 18, family spokesperson Chuck Woodson confirms. He was 62.

Three-time Grammy winner Harris joined The Temptations in 1971 at the age of 21 following the departure of original band member Eddie Kendricks.

He contributed to hit songs like "Love Woke Me Up This Morning" and "Take A Look Around."

I loved The Temptations but don't really remember Damon Harris. I love the classic 5 - Eddie Kendricks, David Ruffin, Paul Williams, Otis Williams, Melvin Franklin but  Eddie Kendricks was my favorite 'Temp'.

So, on this beautiful sunny, Sunday morning, in memory of days gone by and one of my favorite groups, I'm listening to some of my favorite Temptations songs on iTunes!

Here's a lost interview with Eddie
