Could this be about the same Oreo cookie that was once hailed as the most family-friendly, God-fearing Christian cookie this planet has ever seen? Well, thousands of the most homophobic fans have lashed out at the little striped creme cookie.Why? As it turns out, Oreos are actually open-minded, equality-loving, gay pride-celebrating sin-cookies!
People are actually wasting time "hating" on Facebook over a cookie? Cmon people there is famine and war going on in the world. Where are your priorities? It does demonstrate how deep hatred can go (all hatred is self hatred in my book).
And, I must admit. I knew nothing about the Oreo controversy. There it was happening right there under my nose! I happened to see a video come up on my blog feed and once I watched the video I decide to go out on youtube and see what I could find. I found a bunch of other videos on the subject including one with a segment from Stephen Colbert's show. But guess what? I could not get any of them to load. Maybe the haters are all out there trying to watch them so they can post more hate speech and that has crashed the page. Who knows?
