Let's call tonight's post, my special comment

go home! |
I have been shocked, astonished and bewildered at the negative comments I've heard coming from people regarding the Occupy movement.
I can honestly say that I have not encountered, one person, over the last week that even agrees with the movement.
Probably because they haven't bothered to do any research on their own, but instead have chosen to repeat the negative rhetoric they've been hearing on their local TV news stations.
People can be very lazy and often prone to repeat any garbage they hear coming from their trusted news anchor. It's all very sad to me.

take a bath! dirty protestors |
I noticed yesterday, when I switched over to local news (something I NEVER do anymore), all I saw were the images of broken windows, and graffiti (split screen of course) The talk was all about how Whole Foods had its windows broken - as well as Bank of America.

get a life! |
Now, let's be logical here. The police estimate there were 7,000 protestors (so really there were probably closer to $10,000 as police don't always see clearly). Anyway, the people walked together throughout the city, ALL day. They walked past many, many restaurants, banks and stores. They were very organized and marched peacefully.
Now, at some point, some dudes dressed in black wearing masks, decide to attack Whole
pay check Foods. And there were some broken windows -- but c'mon people, there were
SEVEN THOUSAND people. You're gonna have some weirdos in the group! Why paint the whole entire march in a negative light and why make
that the highlight of the news???

seekers of truth

Why, you ask??? Because a very small group of corporations own ALL of the media. (Remember to always ask yourself the question "who benefits?")
So the lazy couch potatoes (who are watching the 10 minute news segment to get their daily dose of world news) don't bother to question anything or heaven forbid, use half a brain. Nope, they just begin to repeat everything,
exactly the way they heard it on TV -- as if it were the truth. I heard about - how
dirty the protestors are, about how they
need to go home,
get a job, t
ake a bath, and get a life. EXACTLY the same view point that the local news channels have. A-MAZING!
