Hope you don't mind if I spend ONE more day on Weinergate. I really want to move on but the lamestream media won't let me.
Pictures of Congressman Weiner with his shirt off, in his tight boxer briefs, articles about the woman whom the weiner was intended for have now surfaced. They even dug up Mr Weiner's cover shot on Cosmo magazine back in 1996.
AND now the squeaky clean, double standard, family values Republicans are calling for his resignation (but I thought there was going to be an ethics investigation to determine guilt?).
IMO - Weiner shouldn't even consider resigning until David Vitter resigns.
What is pissing me off is not whether or not Weiner is guilty of wrong doing, it is the hypocrisy of the Republican party.
Ok so maybe what he did was "creepy". Then don't vote for him next time around, but calling for him to resign is downright ludicrous. The other thing that angers me is that Congressman Weiner may actually end of resigning. And do you know why? Because the roll over democrats are weak and spineless and they won't stand up for anything or anybody.
People let this be a lesson! This is the electronic age. You cannot get away with anything. Unfortnately in short order there will be yet another political figure caught in the act and once again he will parade across our television screen to offer his apology to the American people, his country, his wife and blah, blah, blah.
