Calls for Weiner resignation

This morning I read where San Fran Nan and several other dems have called for the resignation of Anthony Weiner. The most cited reason is that it is a "distraction".  Distraction from what?  It's the MEDIA that is keeping the story alive. Move on with the issues and change the subject!
And, please remember that when the Republicans were caught in situations that were worse and even illegal (in Vitter's case), the Republican party stood behind them. They never called for anyone to resign. That's because they are united in their message and relentless in their determination.

Weiner is a threat to them.

Even if he resigns the distraction will still exist. The Republicans will not let it die. You better believe that! (and why would they, with no plan for jobs and no viable plan for the economy) The problem is that the dems are too trusting and truly spineless (IMO). They must think that the Republicans will say "atta boy" and be tickled pink that a party pervert has been cleared from the ranks".

Yeah, right!

Well, dream on. The republicans are NEVER satisfied and they are devious and cunning and their primary goal is to take back the White House at ANY COST!!

In the end, the dems will do their regular roll over trick and it will result in a very powerful voice being silenced.

I stick with my opinion.

The decision should be left up to the voters (56% say he stays).
