Shuz, Shoose, Shoes!

My 3^rd pair of GLORIOUS Repettos shoes arrived at my office today. 

I am absolutely in love with these shoes. They are handmade in France so the price is not exactly cheap but I don’t care. As a matter of fact, I may never wear any other brand of shoe again. Well...maybe I won't go quite that far, but you get my drift. I find these shoes to be very comfortable and when I wear them I'm transported back to Paris. One of my excuses for going back to Paris was that I needed to buy more Repettos and I could not find them anywhere here in the US ( I know, I know, but any excuse will do if it gets me back to Paris).

Anyway, I was really surprised when I found a website that carried them. Most of the sites that came up in my Google search didn’t have any of the shoes. The few who did, had only 1-2 pairs. 

Style Bop has a ton of shoes and it was very easy to order. They have an easy return policy and great customer service (they even phoned me after I placed my order). They ship from Germany. I ordered mine on Wednesday and they arrived today (Monday). There was also no sales tax. The French sizes run smaller than the US sizes. The sizes run 36, 37, 38 etc so you have to be sure to order them bigger than your normal size. Who cares though (cuz it doesn’t feel the same as it does when you have to go up a dress size). There is a convenient  size conversion chart on the site. The only drawback I can find, is that since the shoes are actually made for dancers, you will need to have the shoe repair add a thin rubber sole (cost was about $24.95 in San Francisco). I am pretty sure that I have at least one more pair I'll just have to order before I go back to Paris in the spring. I definitely plan to add to my collection again when I get to Paris. Hope to visit the flagship store this time around.
