Pure Imagination is the catchy little tune from the at&t commercial, sung by a very young, Gene Wilder in the movie, Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory (1971). I found myself humming the tune over and over agin. Maybe you've heard it too and wondered who sang it and how the rest of the song goes. Words and video are below.
Willy Wonka:
[Spoken]
Hold your breath
Make a wish
Count to three
[Sung]
Come with me
And you'll be
In a world of
Pure imagination
Take a look
And you'll see
Into your imagination
We'll begin
With a spin
Traveling in
The world of my creation
What we'll see
Will defy
Explanation
If you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it
Wanta change the world?
There's nothing
To it
There is no
Life I know
To compare with
Pure imagination
Living there
You'll be free
If you truly wish to be
If you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it
Wanta change the world?
There's nothing
To it
There is no
Life I know
To compare with
Pure imagination
Living there
You'll be free
If you truly
Wish to be
I'm Just Sayin

Not only do I remember this song from the movie, but Kenny Loggins rerecorded it for his "Back to Pooh Corner CD". Jacob and I listened to that CD all the time and we LOVE that song!
Well, I just love Kenny Loggins. Will it up on itunes

THanks for posting. I'm gonna post on my FB page. :)
