BOYcott vs BUYcott

and.....The State of.... Arizona

A number of states and municipalities are boycotting or considering boycotting Arizona to push the state to repeal the recent Immigration Reform Act (SB1070).

Seattle joined the boycott today. Other cities on the list include:
West Hollywood, CA
San Diego, CA
Sacramento, CA
Los Angeles, CA
San Francisco, CA
Oakland, CA
Austin, TX
Boston, MA
El Paso, TX
St Paul, MN

A R I Z O N A boycotter's battle cry: Boycott the state by vowing not to spend your vacation dollars in the state. Whether that be by engaging in tourism in AZ, by not doing business in the state, or by not buying anything that comes from AZ (paying special attention to those businesses that support laws like SB1070).  The Arizona Tourism  Board reported that the state has already lost $90 million due to the boycott.

So now...the supporters of SB1070 have decided to boycott...the boycotters! They have started a petition Buycott-Arizona.com urging other supporters of the AZ law to sign on and help support AZ business and tourism.

As my late uncle used to say "Ain't that about a blipp!" I know, don't ask.
