Who doesn't love spring? It's like a new beginning and the world is full of promise once again.
I just returned from my daily walk with Lily & Lola. The weather is absolutely divine and spring is definitely in the air. I especially love our Sunday walks because we usually take a different route and we stay out twice as long. The girls get a chance to literally "smell the roses". Anyway, I thought it worth mentioning just how many nice people I meet on the streets while we're out walking. Many people stop to talk to me, inquire about the puppies and in turn are rewarded with a puppy kiss, which always leaves them smiling. Even if they don't stop to talk or pet the pups, I often see a smile come to their faces as they see us approaching. Then I hear them remark "ohh they're so cute!" Which always makes me feel good - seeing as how I spend a fortune to keep them looking puppy fabulous!
Anyway, today was a great day and a beautiful day! Hope yours was the same.
This is a sketch done by a passer by on a Sat eve back in Jan. He remarked about the puppies and we stood on the street corner and chatted. He had his sketch pad with him and asked if anyone had ever drawn the puppies. I told him no and he said he'd like to sketch them. Which he did, right then.

Although I know we are in for more, it has been glorious here, and even some spring crocus have been coming up from the last bit of snow... I had the screen door open to air out the apt today!
