Brighter Days Ahead

President Obama went behind enemy lines Friday to meet with members of the Republican House. With cameras rolling, no teleprompter and no notes, an eloquent, confident and intelligent President Obama delivered a stern message.  Either they begin to work together for the good of the country or after this "televised" meeting the American people would see them for who and what they really are. I mean, I know they thought they were gonna make him look bad. That's the only reason they agreed to the cameras. They had visions of seeing President Obama humiliated, and they would have the luxury of watching it over and over again on Fox News later that night. What they didn't know was that the meeting was going so poorly for the Republicans that Fox News cut away from taping a good 20 mins before it ended (let's see how they spin that).  During the 1 1/2 hour meeting the Republicans tried twisting his words. They tried to confuse him in an avalanche of double speak and talking points. They tried to throw numbers at him. Nothing worked. After they were finished, he scolded them like they were little children (Who's your daddy?) and sent them to bed without any supper! That's the President O that I voted for. Standing up for what's right! Kickin ass and taking names!
