Antoni Gaudi Even if you don’t know the name and you spend one single day in Barcelona, you will know him when you leave!
Gaudi's many works, scattered throughout Barcelona, have left an unmistakable impression on the city (and on me). His inventive design style has transformed Barcelona to the extent that Barcelona and Gaudi are intertwined. I can't imagine one without the other. When we came upon our first Gaudi house, I was awestruck and pretty much "just plain speechless" I'm calling Gaudi an "urban architectect" but whatever you call him, his style is totally unique and obviously light years ahead of its time.
Due to time constraints we were unable to visit all of his prized monuments. When I return to Barcelona, exploring the "Houses of Gaudi" will be on the top of on my list.

We love Barcelona!!! Was hoping Spain would win @ FIFA as that is when we were introduced to Soccer/futbol when they were the winners 2010!!!
